I have only made a few model cars but i've got a few more im in the process of making.
The ones I have made include:
The ones I own that I have not started yet include:
I will include pictures of these when I get them Finished. Some of these however
I prefer to leave sealed in the box.
One thing I learned the wrong way is that even if the body of the car is the
color you want the model to be, Prime and paint it!
I did not do this on the Dale Earnhardt model that is pictured above, and I have
regretted it ever since. I did paint the body of the 69 Camaro and it looks a lot better.
Somehow I got a little bit of dust in the paint of it but I just sanded it out with some fine
grit sand paper and waxed it.
The picture above is one I put together of Dale Earnhardt's #3 hauler. The kit was made by
Revell and it took about 3 hours to put it together.
Here is my model car page:
When I painted the 69 Camaro, I used a Testors airbrush that I had recently purchased
but did not practice with much. That was a big mistake. If you are planning to build model
cars (or anything for that matter), an airbrush is a good investment, But practice before you
use it on something you plan to keep.
